Anna Katharine is an associate professor of enology at Cornell’s NYSAES. She first worked in the wine industry in North Carolina’s Yadkin Valley and received graduate degrees at Virginia Tech and the University of Minnesota. Anna Katharine currently focuses her efforts in aiding small regional wineries through enology extension, wine sensory evaluation, and defining regional identity in developing winegrowing areas. She is the leader of the enology team for the Northern Grapes Project.
