Since 2002, Shane has contributed to the Indiana wine industry through experiences in all aspects of winery operations. As winemaker at Satek Winery, located in Fremont, Indiana, he continues to help make wines that express the Midwest attitude, and provide resources to wine professionals to help grow the industry. Providing a springboard for aspiring young winemakers, he remains committed to growing winery tourism by offering industry leadership, balancing a diverse wine portfolio, and creating dynamic business relationships. With wine experience in South America and New Zealand, he brings new ideas to traditional winemaking.
